thanks for your observations. the winter wind does have a different character than the summer wind. Your video of the wind sweeping across the snow brought your message home. Another seasonal comparison is the winter and summer sun. The setting winter sun lingers over the horizoin blilnding drivers when the road heads toward;s the west.

from AI:

The Winter Sun and Summer Sun

The winter sun, a cold, unyielding glare, Its icy beams, a stark and brittle snare. It casts long shadows, sharp and thin, A distant light, a chill within.

The summer sun, a nurturing embrace, Its golden rays, a life-sustaining grace. It warms the earth, it fuels the bloom, A vibrant light, dispelling gloom.

The winter sun, a harsh and fleeting guest, Its presence brief, a test of nature's best. It bites the skin, it numbs the soul, A frigid light, a distant goal.

The summer sun, a constant, gentle hand, Its warmth a balm, across the land. It breathes new life, it sparks the green, A radiant light, a living dream.

Two suns, two tales, in seasons spun, The winter's harshness, summer's fun. Each with its power, its own domain, A dance of light, a world to reign.

I read this piece aloud to my wife and told her I’d written it.
