I am going to send a post today or tomorrow only to you subscribers initially.
In these politically volatile times, I don’t want to throw gasoline on the fire. But the topic cuts across more than red-vs-blue issues and I hope might reframe the notion of what a patriot is and what might lie beyond mere love of country.
So if you’re a mind to, shoot me a word or two. Should I even post this to Facebook; should I submit it to the Roanoke Times Op-Ed? What are your thoughts? And thanks! — Fred
Teaser from the upcoming post: a banner I cobbled. Started to try and put that on a MAGA hat. Nah.
I certainly don't know what you have in mind to write, but I doubt it would be anywhere near as inflammatory as a great deal of verbiage that has been, and is continuing to be, spilled all over the electronic media. So, unless there is a compelling reason NOT to publish it, then go for it! As to the MAGA hat idea, I like the meme I've seen a few times: Make America Kind Again.
Like the idea. Looking forward to what you write. Like the phrase for the banner; but, not into bill caps so wouldn't wear it. Also like Fred's phrase [but, forme, not on a bill cap].

Yep go for it
Agree with the sentiment. Hope it makes folks think. Go for it.
I will be glad to comment.

I like the banner. Sounds like a a good series. Seems like everyone could agree?
