There are only acres of asphalt and busy roads for that goose, but for the one I saw yesterday all alone near the campus here, and in the road: there is good habitat nearby at the intentionally vegetated water catchment ponds (with cat tails and their attendant red winged blackbirds.) The Canadas were visiting this spot when that pond was full and frozen, this one may have stuck around.
