It amazes me that you felt the way you described in 2007. I remember your daily blogs from that era so well. You gave me so much naturalist science and such beautiful photographs. I was eager to read your blog every day. As you know I started reading in approximately 2003. The year 2007 seems to me to be at the height of your powers.
I'd like to think that I'm yet to the height of my powers, whatever they may be. But I am not wise or determined enough to find today's readership that suits whatever it is that I do regarding nature literacy, sense of place, relationships, and community. But I ain't dead yet! \{ ; > ))
